Manor House Clearance in Surrey: A Week’s Work Done in 3 Days

Some jobs stand out. This was one of them — a full clearance of a large period manor house in the Surrey countryside, a job that would normally take a week, completed by our team in just 3 days.

The property had accumulated decades of furniture, antiques, and household items across multiple rooms. The client needed everything removed cleanly and efficiently, with the house left ready for the next chapter.

The Scale of the Job

Jobs like this require serious planning. We arrived with a large removal van and a skip, and worked methodically through the property room by room across 3 days. What we were dealing with was significant — decades of accumulated furniture, antiques, and household contents filling a large multi-room period property.

The property itself was stunning — a red brick period manor with wisteria climbing the front façade and beautifully maintained topiary in the grounds. Quite the setting for a clearance.

What We Removed

Over 3 days we cleared out a large volume of items including antique and period wooden furniture (wardrobes, cabinets, chests of drawers, dining sets), carpets and rugs, soft furnishings, household goods and ornaments, and general accumulated contents from throughout the property.

Items in good condition were separated for donation or rehoming where possible — in line with our commitment to keeping usable goods out of landfill.

A Week’s Work Done in 3 Days

What would typically take a week for most clearance companies, we completed in 3 days. Our team worked efficiently and without cutting corners — the client was left with an empty, clean property ready for sale, renovation, or handover, and well ahead of the original schedule.

This is the kind of job we genuinely love — a serious challenge, a beautiful property, and a very satisfied client at the end of it.
